IF YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED AT OUR WEDDING PARLOR, please arrive no earlier than 15-minutes before your ceremony, as there may be a ceremony in progress right before yours.
QUICKIE, ELOPEMENT, OR SCHEDULED STANDARD CEREMONY:
Includes standard ceremony (please see Spiritual Ceremony Wording), and filing of your marriage certificate.
Fee is $150 for ceremonies held at our Wedding Parlor, or $250 for ceremonies performed at the location of your choice in the greater Nashville area. If your location is further out than the greater Nashville area, additional fees may apply.
RENEWAL OF VOWS: Simple, lovely renewal ceremony. (No filing of certificates as this is not needed)
Fees are the same as above.
BABY NAMING & ADOPTION CEREMONIES: This is done in place of a baptism ceremony. I have a beautiful ceremony that I perform for this blessed occasion (I did it for my own baby!) but you may add or take away as you see fit.
Fees are the same as above.
HOME BLESSINGS: Performed at your old home or new home. Fee $250 within the greater Nashville area.
TO OBTAIN A MARRIAGE LICENSE IN TENNESSEE: Both the bride and groom-to-be must appear in person at the County Clerk's office to prove that you are over 18 years old. Please bring a state issued driver's license or birth certificate or passport for identification. There is no waiting period and no blood test required. If either of you is under the age of 18, your parents must accompany you. The current fee for a marriage license is $99.50 and is valid for 30 days from the date of issue for any ceremony performed in the state of Tennessee.
I currently perform ceremonies at The Wedding Parlor, in the Lakewood area, located at 2601 Old Hickory Blvd., Old Hickory, TN 37138, which is on the second floor of the building, above Orbit Health Food Store. The Wedding Parlor area is approximately 10' x 12', and will fit a handful of folks comfortably within the draped area. If there are more in attendance, we can open the drapes (as shown) to allow more standing room through the main area. I would say that 25 people would be the maximum. People usually stand, as the ceremony is approximately just 15-minutes in length. Please let us know if one of your attendees needs to sit down, and we'll happily have a chair ready for them. Please note also, there is not a working elevator in the building, as it is a charming, old, historical building, so taking the stairs is the only option.

Please call for fee information and descriptions about other types of ceremonies, such as divorce/closure ceremonies, step-family ceremonies, retirement ceremonies, and corporate ceremonies.
